How to join

EUNIDA strives to increase its membership and welcomes public organisations from as many Member States as possible in order to broaden the know-how, representative nature and capacity of the network.

Who can apply?

EUNIDA is open to development organisations:

  • Based in a Member State of the European Union
  • Governed by a not-for-profit status
  • Established with a public mandate to implement development cooperation programmes
Categories of Membership

The Grouping may accept two categories of membership, full Members and Observers, provided that there is not more than one Member and one Observer per Member State of the European Union in the Grouping.

How to apply

The procedure for becoming a Member or an Observer is detailed in Article 4 of the Contract of Formation.

Should you wish to apply, your application as a Member or as an Observer must be made in writing to the Chairrman of the Board of Directors. Once your application has been assessed and you have approved the Contract of Formation, a letter of intent should be sent by your organisation to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors, which meets every two months, has the authority to approve new Observers. Full Members can only be elected at General Assembly meetings, which are held twice a year.

EUNIDA's procedures allow the integration, on a case by case basis, of other Member States' agencies. All the required Member States’ capacities can be integrated, where required, to add value to a project or programme.
