EUNIDA members have diverse backgrounds and constitutions, but share common values:
- They are based in the European Union.
- They are public-sector bodies mandated by their governments and/or owned by not-for-profit organisations.
- Their clients are developing or transition countries.
- Their main activity is the implementation of assistance programmes.
EUNIDA members abide by high standards of financial transparency due to their public or para-public status. They can ensure public accountability through transparent financial management and regular audit controls.
